MCPHS (Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences) University was founded as the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy by Drs Charles Loring Brace, Seth Davis Bigelow, Jacob Bigelow and Cyrus Perkins Fogg in 1823 at what became known as "Brace's Corner" on Beacon Street in Boston near where Cambridge Street crosses it.
