The college was founded in 1966, but traces its roots back to 1869 when it began as a private academy for young women called the Seattle Seminary School. Today Cascadia College provides students with access to quality student services such as academic advising, career counseling, tutoring, library facilities and writing labs along with plenty of opportunities for student involvement from clubs and organizations to leadership development activities like our Student Senate or Diversity Council.
