University of Washington-Seattle Campus is a public institution in Seattle, Washington. The University of Washington also has campuses in Bothell and Tacoma. It was established in 1861 in downtown Seattle. The campus eventually moved to the current University District and includes 703 acres of urban land. The campus also provides views of the Olympic Mountains and the Cascade Range. The university is known for its extensive library system, which includes over 26 university libraries. The university’s admissions process is considered highly selective with 19,733 students accepted out of a total of 43,517 applications.

The University of Washington-Seattle Campus offers a wide selection of nursing programs for undergrads and grads. Students may enroll in the BSN, RN to BSN, accelerated BSN, MSN, accelerated MSN, DNP, BSN to DNP, Ph.D., or BSN to Ph.D. programs. These programs are accredited by the CCNE. With the traditional BSN program, students enroll after completing their sophomore year and the required prerequisite courses. The two-year program includes training at a high-tech learning lab along with supervised training at clinical sites. Students complete over 1,000 hours of hands-on training at the clinical sites affiliated with the university. There are currently over 700 partnerships including the Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington Medical Center.
