According to the NCES 2017 report, 3394 students are enrolled at ABAC with 883 freshmen enrolling last fall semester alone!

 The school was founded as an agricultural high school back in 1884 by Jesse Mercer, a pioneer of modern agriculture education. Today, ABAC offers more than 25 undergraduate majors across multiple disciplines within the fields of Business Administration; Agriculture Sciences; Engineering Technology; Liberal Arts & Sciences; Mathematics & Natural Sciences

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is a public institution of higher education located in Tifton, GA. ABAAC enrolls over 3,000 students annually and offers undergraduate degrees and certificates in the fields of agriculture, architecture, art education, business administration with concentrations in accounting or finance. The school also offers graduate degrees in applied computer science/computer information systems.

The college was established by an act of the General Assembly on February 14th 1887 as the South Georgia State Normal School to train teachers for rural schools throughout south Georgia. Originally known as the “South Georgia Teachers Training School” it became one of 29 colleges that were created after passage of House Bill 1133 by Governor Joe Frank Harris on April 16th 1931

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is one of the twenty-nine public 4-year colleges in Georgia. The campus is located in Tifton town.

The college was founded on March 5, 1887 as a land grant institution and has been operating since then without interruption. It was named for Abraham Baldwin, an early American educator and politician who signed the United States Constitution at age thirty two.
