Albert I Prince Technical High School was founded on October 13, 1931 by the St. Louis Board of Education with funding from Albert A. Prince (1887-1931), President & Treasurer of Harsco Corporation as well as Director Emeritus of the International Nickel Company; who died suddenly on September 30, 1931 during his term as president and treasurer of both companies while traveling eastbound from Chicago to New York City aboard the Pennsylvania Railroad's "Broadway Limited." In honor of Mr. Prince's legacy in providing education
Albert I Prince Technical High School is a public technical high school in the Western Region of Ghana. The school's mission is to provide quality technical education and training for learners from disadvantaged backgrounds with an emphasis on preparing them for self-employment. The goal of Albert I Prince Technical High School is to produce literate, knowledgeable young people who are able to become self-reliant through employment or entrepreneurship.
