Allan Hancock College (AHC) is a public two-year community college that is located in Santa Maria, California. This community college was established all the way back in 1920 and it has a very rich history. It has a very large campus that is 105 acres, ensuring that there is ample room for the over 13,000 students that are enrolled in the school. This is a college that is very renowned and it has received rewards in the past that recognize its excellence. In 2011, the school was ranked as one of the top five community colleges in California and was also in the top 120 community college list for the entirety of the US. The school has many different programs of study and it also has several popular athletics programs that help to add to the charm of the college.

This school has three nursing programs. Students will be able to pursue Certified Nursing Assisting (CNA), Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN), and Registered Nursing (RN) programs. All three of these nursing programs are very thorough and seek to provide students with everything that they need to succeed. The RN program is particularly popular and is fully accredited by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
