The Alliance Career Centre - Robert T. White School of Practical Nursing is a private, non-profit school that prepares students for the Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) professions through an intensive program of study in nursing theory and clinical practice. The Alliance offers a practical nurse education program which is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Alliance Career Centre is a post-secondary, private career college focused on practical nursing and allied health programs. Founded in 1973, we are one of the oldest schools in the state of Virginia offering these types of programs. We have been educating nurses since 1973 and our graduates work all across the United States and Canada! Our students enjoy small class sizes with hands-on clinical experience to prepare them for success as they become registered nurses.

White School of Practical Nursing is a nursing school that provides training for entry-level practical nurses in the areas of adult, pediatric and psychiatric/mental health nursing. Alliance Career Centre - Robert T. White School of Practical Nursing was founded by Drs. Eileen Bresnahan and Carol Lynn Browning in 1985 to provide an opportunity for individuals who are unable to attend traditional colleges or universities due to family responsibilities, disabilities or other life circumstances, with the education they need to become practicing RN's at home or abroad through distance learning courses and online programs. The school offers a variety of degrees including Associate Degrees (ADN) such as ADN – Adult Nurse Practitioner Degree.

The Alliance Career Centre offers both traditional classroom-based programs in addition to online courses that are flexible for working adults.
