Blinn College is the largest community college in Texas, serving more than 20,000 students annually. Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible higher education that prepares our students for success in a global society.

Blinn College has been recognized as one of the top two-year institutions in America by Money Magazine's "Best Colleges" ranking (2017) and as one of the nation's best values among public universities by Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine (2016).

The school was founded on November 3, 1923, with an initial enrollment of 118 people. Today it enrolls over 20,000 students each year and offers Associate degrees in 60 fields; Bachelor degrees in 19 fields; certificate programs for personal enrichment or occupational preparation;

Blinn College is a two-year liberal arts college located in Bryan, Texas. Established in 1883 by the Blinn family, it was originally named Blinn Memorial Female College and became coeducational in 1965. The main campus is located on Highway 6 between Houston and Austin, with satellite campuses in Brenham and Schulenburg. The college offers Associate of Arts degrees as well as occupational certificates for students seeking careers outside of four-year colleges or universities.

Blinn College was founded in 1883 by Thomas Jefferson Blinn as an all-male school to provide educational opportunities for those who could not afford them otherwise. Today, it has grown into one of the largest community colleges in Texas with over 11,000 students enrolled annually at its main facilities in Bryan/College Station and Brenham; with more than 50% being first generation college students.
