Carl Albert State College

Carl Albert State College is a public, co-educational college located in Poteau, Oklahoma. CASC was established back in 1933 as Poteau Junior College and then became Poteau Community College after that.

 The school changed its name to honor former Speaker of the House Carl Albert. There are approximately 3300 students enrolled at the college currently and the school provides everyone in the community with access to affordable education that helps students foster success.
