Founded in 1966, the College of Southern Maryland - Prince Frederick is a public community college located in suburban Prince Frederick, MD. CSM-P offers associate degrees and certificates in academic areas such as business, education, liberal arts and sciences, nursing and allied health care professions.

The College of Southern Maryland-Prince Frederick is a public, two-year community college that offers academic and vocational programs with six majors in the arts and sciences. Founded as Prince Frederick Junior College in 1959, CSM-PF has grown to become one of the most popular colleges on the East Coast. We are accredited by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and offer associate degrees for transfer to four year institutions or an Associate Degree for Transfer in Arts & Sciences for students who want to earn a bachelor's degree at one of our partner institutions without taking any more classes.

The College has been serving South Central Maryland since 1965. The campus offers access to career technical education through the Center for Workforce Development and degrees in liberal arts, humanities and sciences such as nursing which can lead to careers in medicine or other health care fields.
