Comanche Nation College is a two-year tribal college located in Lawton, Oklahoma. The mission of the institution is to provide educational opportunities and training which will lead to employment for Native Americans and other underrepresented groups. The vision of Comanche Nation College is "To be recognized as a leader among Tribal Colleges". CNC's goal is to educate students who are prepared for higher education or entry level jobs with an emphasis on native peoples' language, culture, history, and natural resources.
Founded in 2000 after many years of planning by the Comanche Nation Council; the first classes were held at Muscogee Creek Community College until construction could be completed on the permanent campus site near Lawton airport. The new campus opened.
