Dillard and his wife Edna, Dillard University has been committed to educating students for over 100 years with a distinctive approach that combines liberal arts and professional studies.

Dillard University is a private, not-for-profit 4-year college located in New Orleans. The school was founded in 1869 by Edward A. Dillard and Adeleide Dillard. It's the only historically black Protestant liberal arts college south of Atlanta, Georgia.
