Eastern Oklahoma State College, McAlester Branch Campus is an accredited two-year college with a focus on health sciences and general studies. The McAlester branch of Eastern Oklahoma State College has been serving the needs of citizens for over 50 years. Located at 1802 East College Avenue in McAlester, it was formerly known as the McCurtain County Junior Vocational School when it opened its doors to students in September 1957. It later became the McCurtain County Vocational Center before finally becoming recognized as Eastern Oklahoma State Colleges' McAlester Branch Campus under Title III legislation passed by Congress in 1972.

McAlester Branch Campus is located in the city of McAlester, Oklahoma and offers degrees in criminal justice, human services, healthcare management and administration, nursing (RN to BSN), teacher education (grades K-12) and general studies.
