ECPI University was established in 1964 and has grown from an educational institute with nine programs into a comprehensive university system with more than 90 degree offerings, including undergraduate and graduate degrees, certificate programs, professional development courses for industry professionals, and customized training for businesses.
The Virginia Beach Campus opened its doors in the fall of 1995. The campus offers associate’s degree programs in criminal justice and general studies as well as bachelor’s degree programs in accounting technology; business administration – management major; computer information systems; criminal justice - law enforcement concentration; hospitality management – culinary arts concentration; health care administration; human resource management.
