We are Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. We have been in existence for over 150 years, and we need your help to keep our doors open for the next 150! Your donation will make a difference in the lives of many by providing scholarships, funding research, and supporting faculty.

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is a Catholic, co-educational university with an enrollment of over 2,000. The Franciscans have been educating students since 1878 and the university has grown to include many different academic programs such as business administration, nursing, psychology and social work. We are proud to be one of the top Catholic universities in California!

Franciscan Missionaries Of Our Lady University is a private, Catholic university in Mexico City and Guadalajara. It was founded by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady on October 7, 1932. The Franciscans have been providing higher education in Mexico since 1535 when they opened their first school for Indian boys in Oaxaca. In 1932, with an endowment from the widow Maria de la Luz Gutiérrez Zambrano y Camacho, the sisters established a university that would be open to Mexican women and men who were not able to attend other institutions because of financial need or religious affiliation. Franciscan Missionaries Of Our Lady University is a Catholic university in San Antonio, Texas. The Franciscans are guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and strive to be a community of faith committed to service, justice, peace and quality education. As a Franciscan institution we offer degrees that prepare students for professional careers in teaching or ministry. Currently over 1,000 students study on campus with another 400 enrolled online from across the U.S., Latin America and Africa.
