Halifax Community College

Halifax Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education, located in Weldon, North Carolina and part of the North Carolina Community College System. Halifax was established back in 1967 and is among the oldest community colleges in North Carolina. It is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges and it offers many associate’s degree programs. There are also a large number of continuing education programs at this school for the community to take part in. It is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
