Hanford Adult School is a private, non-profit corporation that provides various educational services. Hanford offers adult education classes in basic skills, GED preparation and high school completion. The company also offers English as a second language (ESL) courses for adults who want to learn English or improve their English speaking ability.

Our highly-qualified instructors provide a wide variety of courses in English, math, computer skills and other subjects for adults age 18 or older. We offer GED preparation classes and a number of basic skills instruction classes as well.

The Adult School is a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides adult education and lifelong learning. With over 2,000 students in classes each semester, the school offers courses for personal enrichment to career training and job placement assistance. There are many programs for various needs including: math skills, English as a Second Language (ESL), GED preparation/testing, citizenship test preparation/testing, computer literacy instruction with Microsoft Word and Excel; parenting skills development; financial management; ESOL Classes from American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) - Level 1 to Level 4; health care careers instruction such as Medical Assisting and Pharmacy Technician certification programs

Hanford Adult School is a public, two-year community college that offers associate degrees. The school has been in operation for more than 40 years and is one of the oldest continuously operating community colleges in California. More than 1,000 students attend Hanford each semester to learn new skills or upgrade their education.
