Hudson County Community College

Established back in 1974, HCCC currently serves more than 9,000 students and offers associate’s degree opportunities as well as many vocational certificate programs. The HCCC nursing program has two main programs that will educate nurses to become successful members of the medical community by teaching nursing theory and practical skills. There is the practical nursing program that will lead to a certificate and the registered nursing program that will lead to an associate’s degree. The nursing program at HCCC is fully approved by the New Jersey Board of Nursing and is also accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).Graduates of the nursing program will be properly prepared to take the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN licensure exam.
