We are a private, not-for-profit 2-year college in Ohio. We offer Associate degrees in Nursing and Practical Nursing as well as certificates in Medical Assisting. Huron School of Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Health Sciences (ACES).

Huron School of Nursing is one of the private, not-for-profit 2 year colleges in Ohio. Established in 1980 to provide a comprehensive nursing education program that would be responsive to the needs of the healthcare industry and the community it serves, Huron has grown from a staff of 3 faculty members and 12 students into an institution with more than 100 employees serving nearly 700 full time students on campus each semester. The school offers Associate Degrees in Nursing (ADN), diploma programs for RNs or LPNs who have completed their associate degrees and certificate programs for those who need them as a bridge to entry level credentials or just want an introduction to health.

The Huron School of Nursing offers a two-year program leading to an Associate in Applied Science Degree with majors in nursing and health. The school is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and has been approved by the Ohio Board of Career Colleges and Schools. 

The curriculum provides students with professional, technical, cognitive, physical, psychosocial/cultural diversity, interpersonal communication skills development. Students also develop their leadership abilities through participation in community service with healthcare agencies; they are prepared to work as graduate nurses within a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics or home care facilities.

Huron School of Nursing offers a variety of programs that can help students achieve their goals, whether it is to become registered nurses, licensed practical nurses or medical assistants. The school has been preparing professionals for the health care industry since the 1940s and is proud to have graduated over 20,000 nursing professionals in its history. Students at Huron are not just given an education; they are also provided with opportunities for personal growth and development through extracurricular activities as well as volunteer opportunities within the local community.
