Kirksville Area Technical Center is a public career college located in Kirksville, Missouri. Established in 1955, the school has one of the shortest running times for an American technical institute and offers more than 40 programs to help you achieve your goals.
MISSION STATEMENT: Our mission is to provide high quality educational opportunities for individuals who desire skills and training beyond that offered by general education programs at other institutions of higher learning.
OUTCOME GOALS: The people we serve will be able to find employment or pursue post-secondary education; they will have access to supportive services such as counseling, tutoring, scholarships and grants; they will be eligible for financial aid assistance; they will develop personal growth through participation.
Kirksville Area Technical Center is located in a rural area, in Kirksville. The campus is one of the nineteen public career colleges in Missouri. In 2017, a total of 33 students attended the school. 15 freshman students enrolled and around 15 returned for their sophomore year (which makes its freshmen retention rate 100%). Every year 75% of the graduating class graduates within 150% time it takes to complete their studies.
