Lurleen B. Wallace Community College - MacArthur is a community college in Montgomery, Alabama. The school was renamed to honor Lurleen Wallace, the first woman governor of Alabama and wife of George C. Wallace, after her death from cancer in 1968. The school has grown rapidly since its founding in 1963 and now offers over 30 degrees and more than 200 programs for students to earn associate's degrees or certificates of completion that are aligned with workforce needs across the region.
