Marian University is one of the thirty-three private, not-for-profit 4-year colleges in Wisconsin. The campus is located in an urban area, in Fond Du Lac. According to the NCES 2017 report, a total of 1,971 students attend the school. In the 2017 fall enrollment, 352 freshman students enrolled, and approximately 243 students returned for their sophomore year (which makes its freshman retention rate 69%). The school has grown from an all-women’s college to a coeducational university with undergraduate and graduate programs that serve more than 2,000 students.
