The mission of Marion Technical College is to help prepare our students for success in life and work through quality learning and teaching, so they may be successful in their chosen careers or continue their education at four-year institutions.

Marion Technical College was founded in 1938 and is a two-year public college with over 5,000 students. The college provides technical training programs for jobs in manufacturing, construction, healthcare, business administration and much more.

Marion Technical College is a two-year technical college offering associate degrees, diplomas and certificates in Manufacturing Technology, Welding Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technologies and other hands-on training programs.

Marion Technical College is a community college that has been in operation for over 50 years. We are an open-access, open-door institution where everyone is welcome to pursue their education and career training needs with the assurance of success. We offer more than 30 programs with two main campuses and three satellite locations throughout our service area.
