Mercy Hospital

Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing is a nursing school in Miami, Florida that offers three different practical nursing programs. The school has been providing nursing education to the area since 1981 and it all began with a small class of 12 students. Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing Day was decreed by the Mayor of Miami Dade County in 2001 and the school has gained such an excellent reputation that it has even been honored within the community.

Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing is dedicated to the education, training and preparation of practical nurses for careers in health care.

Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing has been providing nursing education in the area since 1981. It all began with a small class of 12 nursing students and has turned into a program that is much larger. The school has gained such an excellent reputation over the years that it was even honored by being proclaimed Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing Day on August 3rd, 2001 by Miami Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas. 

The school offers three different practical nursing programs including one which takes place at night when most people are working during the day time hours.

The school has been providing nursing education since 1981, and the program is much larger now with multiple options for night classes. In 2001, Mercy Hospital was honored by Miami Dade County Mayor who declared August 3rd as Mercy Hospital School of Practical Nursing Day in recognition of the school’s excellence.
