MidAmerica Nazarene University is a Christian liberal arts college located in Olathe, Kansas. Founded by the Church of the Nazarene in 1966, MNU now offers over 50 undergraduate majors and 7 graduate degrees to its students. Located on 105 acres of land with a close proximity to Kansas City metropolitan area, MNU has grown into one of the most respected private universities in North America. MNU provides students with a few undergraduate nursing programs and an MSN program. The undergrad programs include accelerated BSN, traditional BSN, LPN to BSN, and RN to BSN programs, which are all accredited by the CCNE. When enrolled in the traditional BSN program, students take liberal arts and the prerequisite classes during their first two years. The school recently opened a Virtual Patient Center, to give nursing students hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art learning laboratory. The nursing programs are student-centered, which encourages students to solve problems and seek answers. The school also provides students with clinical experience at a variety of local healthcare facilities.
