Misericordia University was founded in 1924 by the Religious Sisters of Mercy, and is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church. It offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Its Guaranteed Placement Program gives students six months after graduating to find a job or else they are employed for free at Misericordia as an intern.
