Muskingum University

Muskingum University is one of the seventy private, not-for-profit 4-year colleges in Ohio. The campus is located in New Concord town. According to the NCES 2017 report, a total of 2,369 students attend the school. In the 2017 fall enrollment, 384 freshman students enrolled, and approximately 288 students returned for their sophomore year (which makes its freshman retention rate 75%). Every year 48% of the graduating class students graduate in 150% of the time it takes to complete their studies. Muskingum University's in-state tuition for the 2017-2018 academic year was $26,900, and fees were $746. Out-of-state tuition and fees for the same period were $26,900 and $746 respectively.

Muskingum University is a private, four-year university in New Concord, Ohio. Founded in 1837 by the Presbyterian Church as Muskingum College, it was renamed to reflect its current broad focus on both liberal arts and professional studies programs. As of fall 2016, there are over 2,000 undergraduate students enrolled at Muskingum and an additional 800 graduate students studying across all six master's degree programs offered.

The institution has been affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1918 but welcomes students from many different religious backgrounds.
