Otterbein University

Otterbein University is one of the seventy private, not-for-profit 4-year colleges in Ohio. The campus is located in a suburb, in Westerville. Established by United Brethren congregations and named after UB cofounder Bishop Philander Chase Otterbein, Otterbein has been educating students for over 160 years. In 2016, the university celebrated its 160th anniversary with a new logo and slogan: "160 Years Growing."

Otterbein University is a private, not-for-profit 4-year college in Westerville, Ohio. Founded in 1847 by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ and named for Bishop Christian Charles Josias von Bunge's birthplace, Otterbein College was one of several small colleges established before the Civil War. The campus is surrounded by trees and greenery with its buildings dispersed around a main quadrangle.
