The campus offers enrichment programs in reading, writing, math, science and social studies to students from grades K-12. Porter and Chester Institute is an independent school located in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Porter and Chester is a coeducational day school for students of all abilities from grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. The Rocky Hill Campus offers the preschool program to grade 8, while the main campus offers grades 9-12. Founded in 1833 by Reverend James Porter and Dr. Charles Henshaw, this institution provides a rigorous academic program with an emphasis on developing character traits such as leadership skills, responsibility, perseverance and courage.
