In the Reese Center, we're here to help make your college experience a success. We work with students and their families from start to finish: advising on degree plans, providing financial aid information, guiding through registration and orientation, helping find housing options—everything you need for an academic year of excellence.
We're proud of our faculty's dedication to teaching excellence. Our professors are experts in their fields who will challenge you while making sure you have fun too! The Reese Center is also home to the Student Success Lab where every student can get one-on-one assistance with any issue they may be having academically or personally. Not only that but we offer a variety of services including tutoring programs and free workshops throughout the semester.

South Plains College - Reese Center is a private college that offers degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. The Reese Center provides technical education in agriculture, business, communications, computer science, engineering technology, health professions and law enforcement. The center also offers adult basic education services to any interested individual who wishes to improve his or her skills in reading, writing and math.
The South Plains College - Reese Center is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) as well as nationally recognized associations such as the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE), American Dietetic Association (ADA), National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
South Plains College's Reese Center is an Educational and Community Resource Center. The Reese Center serves a population of more than 40,000 people in the Lubbock area by providing free and low-cost educational services to those who otherwise would not have access.
*The center offers tutoring for GED prep, citizenship classes, ESL (English as Second Language), financial literacy courses, computer skills training, interview preparation workshops; provides assistance with food pantry applications and referrals to SNAP/food stamps; provides information on other community resources such as social security benefits counseling and legal help.
South Plains College has been a leader in higher education since 1927. In Fall of 2018, South Plains College proudly opened the Reese Center on its Lubbock campus to provide students with an innovative and engaging environment for their academic journey. The Reese Center is home to several degree programs, including Nursing, Business Administration, Liberal Studies and more. Students have access to cutting-edge technology that provides them with real-world skills they need after graduation.
