The University of Houston-Victoria is a public university in Victoria, Texas. It was established in 1973 as the University of Houston Victoria Center by the then-University of Houston System Board of Regents. In 1995, UHV became part of the University of Houston System and it has since developed into a four-year institution with its own accreditation and academic programs. The campus spans 20 acres within the city limits and 30 miles from Gulf Coast beaches.

Several BSN programs are offered, including traditional BSN, accelerated BSN, and RN to BSN. The university also offers MSN and RN to MSN programs. These options are all accredited by the CCNE. The RN to BSN program is an online program for registered nurses.  The remaining programs require students to complete courses at the main University of Houston campus in Houston. However, students enrolled in the traditional BSN program may complete their prerequisite courses at the University of Houston-Victoria.
