University of North Georgia

The University of North Georgia is an institution of higher learning located in the town of Dahlonega, Georgia. The school was created in 2013 by the consolidation of North Georgia College and State University (founded 1873) with Gainesville State College (founded 1948).

University administrators hope to create a campus which will provide students with excellent academic programs, research opportunities, and services to help them succeed in their careers.
