The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is one of the largest universities in Wisconsin. The Oshkosh State Normal School was established in 1871 and joined the University of Wisconsin System 100 years later. Today, UW-Oshkosh has over 16,500 students from all 50 states and more than 140 countries. Students can choose from 65 undergraduate majors as well as pre-professional programs such as law, medicine, veterinary medicine or pharmacy.
