YWCA Los Angeles Job Corps Center

The YWCA Job Corps Center is a vocational school that provides life skills to young women. The center has been in operation for over 40 years and has provided job training for more than 5,000 students. It offers great opportunities for women who are seeking jobs or looking to advance their careers.

The YWCA of Los Angeles Job Corps Center is a residential program for low-income young women that provides education, training and paid work experience. Through the center, they offer a variety of programs such as career coaching, job placement assistance, financial literacy workshops and more to help give these girls the resources they need to succeed in life. The center also offers free childcare for parents who are participating in their programs so both parents can be involved in their child's development.

The YWCA Job Corps Center in Los Angeles is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for youth to learn skills and earn certifications through an intensive, hands-on program. Participants attend the center for six months during which they are given tuition-free education and have access to computers, tools, and other resources. The center also offers GED classes (both day or evening), computer training courses (online or offline), childcare services, transportation assistance to school or work sites, onsite job placement services and more.

The YWCA Los Angeles Job Corps Center has been in operation since 1971, and is a service of the Greater Los Angeles Area YWCA. The heart of the center is our school, which offers a comprehensive program that prepares students for employment with hands-on training in auto mechanics, construction skills, computer technology and office administration. We also offer counseling services to help clients access other community resources to develop their life skills.
