The Amherst County Public Schools system is the public school division of the county and includes approximately 1800 students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Our mission is to provide a quality education for every student in grades K-12 that will enable them to become productive, responsible citizens in society. The district has five schools: three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.
