Central Community College - Platte Campus
Central Community College - Platte Campus is a two-year public college in the Platte County of Missouri. Founded in 1867, it was originally called Central Female College. The school's name has changed to Central Community College on June 9, 1997. Courses are offered on the central campus and at satellite locations throughout Lincoln County. The Central Campus is located west of downtown Platte near Interstate 80 Exit #278A. The current enrollment is around 1,500 students with approximately 200 faculty members providing instruction for both day and evening classes as well as online courses to those who wish to pursue higher education from afar.

Facilities include classrooms, computer labs, library resources, student services offices (including financial aid), cafeteria/cafe*, bookstore*, gymnasium* (*access available only to enrolled students). In addition: parking lot for vehicles or buses; easy highway access.
