The College offers over 30 associate degrees and certificates in fields such as Allied Health, Business Administration, Liberal Arts & Sciences; Science Technologies; Engineering Technology; and Environmental Studies. It also offers non-credit courses such as ESL/GED preparation classes.

College of the Desert's enrollment has increased every year since 2009 with 11,146 students attending this year (2017). One hundred thirty three out of those students attended on an athletic.
