Visalia Adult School

Visalia Adult School is a community based school that provides opportunities for adults to earn their high school diploma, receive vocational training and participate in enrichment programs. The mission of the Visalia Adult School is to provide quality education and skills development for all learners.

Visalia Adult School is a school where adults can go to get their GED. Visalia Adult School has been serving the community for over 50 years and is one of only two GED schools in Tulare County, California. The school offers adult education classes in English as a second language, citizenship preparation, and general equivalency diploma (GED) testing. The Visalia Adult School provides an opportunity for adults to complete secondary education if they are unable to attend high school or college due to economic constraints or other reasons.

The Visalia Adult School is a nonprofit organization that provides educational opportunities for adults who want to complete their high school education, earn an equivalency diploma and/or receive job training. The school offers adult basic education classes as well as GED testing. Visalia Adult School’s mission is to provide educational opportunities for adults in the Central Valley region of California. Serving over 8,000 students annually, we are the largest provider of adult education services in Tulare County and one of the top providers statewide.

Visalia Adult School is a public school that offers an adult education program for adults who are 18 years of age and older. The classes offered include Basic Academic Skills, GED Prep, ESOL, Citizenship Classes, Computer Literacy I & II and various job-related skills. The class sizes range from 6 to 30 students.
