Delaware County Technical School-Practical Nursing Program

Delaware County Technical School-Practical Nursing Program is one of the thirty-one public career colleges in Pennsylvania. The campus is located in a suburb, in Broomall. According to the NCES 2017 report, a total of 43 students attend the school. In the 2017 fall enrollment, 9 freshman students enrolled, and approximately 3 students returned for their sophomore year (which makes its freshman retention rate 36%). Every year 61% of the graduating class students graduate in 150% of the time it takes to complete their studies.

Delaware County Technical School-Practical Nursing Program is a leading provider of practical nursing education. Established in 1959, we are the only school in Delaware County to offer an associate degree program that provides students with hands-on experience and technical knowledge needed to start their career as a licensed practical nurse.

Delaware County Technical School-Practical Nursing Program (DCTSTPNP) is an accredited nursing school. They are committed to preparing students for success in the nursing field and beyond. DCTSTPNP offers a practical nursing program that provides hands-on, clinical experience with patients in Delaware County hospitals, clinics and long term care facilities. The curriculum emphasizes medical terminology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and physical assessment skills needed by a registered nurse.

Delaware County Technical School is a private career school with campuses in Chester and Media, Pennsylvania. The Delaware County Technical School-Practical Nursing Program prepares graduates for employment as registered nurses in acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, home health agencies and other health related settings.

The Delaware County Technical School-Practical Nursing Program is an accredited nursing program in Pennsylvania. We are a public school, and we offer both daytime and evening classes to ensure that students can graduate with the knowledge needed for success in their desired career path. Students will spend one year learning about math, science, anatomy, physiology, chemistry, English grammar/composition and humanities before they start taking courses in their field of study. The Delaware County Technical School-Practical Nursing Program is a two-year course of study designed to give you the skills necessary to become an RN.
