Delaware Skills Center

The Delaware Skills Center is a nonprofit organization that provides training and employment services for people with disabilities. The mission of the DSC is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve self-sufficiency through education, vocational training and work opportunities.

The Delaware Skills Center is a trade school that provides courses to prepare you for your future. Our programs are designed to give you the skills and knowledge required by today's employers, in order to help make your career dreams come true.

The Delaware Skills Center provides a nurturing, supportive environment for adults to explore their personal and professional development in safety. We offer individualized instruction in academic subjects, career skills, life skills and community engagement that are designed to meet the needs of our students’ individual goals.

The Delaware Skills Center is the state's premier vocational education and training institution. Our mission is to help people gain skills for life, work, and citizenship in today's ever-changing world. The DSCT offers a comprehensive curriculum of high quality academic and vocational courses that prepare students for employment or higher education. 

The DSCT also provides workforce development services to employers through customized job placement assistance, employer advisory panels, business incubator space, equipment loans/leases & more.

The Delaware Skills Center provides a variety of services to help people gain the skills needed for employment, including training and support. We offer individualized programs in areas such as career exploration, job readiness and placement, work-based learning opportunities, community education and outreach. Our goal is to provide the most efficient way for employers to find qualified candidates with the right skills.
