Delta College - Slidell

Delta College is a community college with the only campus in Slidell, Louisiana. The college has been open for over 40 years and offers both traditional and online courses. Delta's programs are designed to help students achieve their educational goals while preparing them to enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year university.

Delta College, a public two-year college, has been educating students in the Slidell area since 1969. Delta offers Associate Degrees and Certificates in more than 120 programs in fields such as business, health care & nursing, technology and engineering. With over 100 faculty members and staff serving an average of 2,000 students each semester with courses offered at the campus location or online via distance education technologies. Delta College is committed to providing quality educational opportunities that will prepare graduates for success both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Slidell Campus offers an Associate degree program for those who want to transfer to four-year institutions as well as technical certificate programs for those seeking employment opportunities in fields such as medical billing/coding or dental assisting. The West Bank Campus has grown from 400 students when it opened in 2009 to over 1,200 today and is now home to Delta's only bachelor degree program (Associate of Science) that prepares graduates for eventual matriculation into Tulane University's School of Public Health
