According to the NCES 2017 report, there are 2,004 students that attend our school.Frontier Nursing University is one of the 26 private, not-for-profit 4 year colleges in Kentucky. The campus is located in a rural area, about two hours from Lexington and three hours from Nashville.

The school offers bachelor's degrees in nursing and education, as well as master’s degrees for registered nurses (RN) and nurse practitioners (NP). Frontier also has an RN bridge program that allows students to complete their bachelor's degree at a community college before transferring to Frontier or completing it online while they work full time. A new Doctorate of Nursing Practice will be offered starting Fall 2019 allowing RNs with advanced practice credentials such as those who are board certified APRNs or CNMs to pursue this graduate level degree without.
