Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing

Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing is a 2-year private, not-for-profit school in Lewistown town. We are one of twenty six such schools in Pennsylvania.

Geisinger’s nursing program was founded by Dr. Herbert Pangman and his wife Anne Pangman with the intention to provide a place for students to learn and develop their skills as nurses. The school has been educating nurses since 1936 and today it continues to prepare its graduates for successful careers as registered nurses through an accredited curriculum that includes clinical experience at Geisinger Medical Center, Lewistown Hospital, or other healthcare facilities within our region.
