Harrisburg Area Community College is a public, two-year school located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The college was founded by an Act of the General Assembly on March 15th 1967 as "Lancaster County Community College." On January 1st 2000 it became Harrisburg Area Community College - Lancaster Campus and has since expanded its offerings to include associate degrees and certificates from more than 60 academic departments.
