Mohave Community College (MCC) is a public, two-year community college in Mohave County. MCC was established in 1975 after a public vote and opened with three campuses. The original locations included Kingman, Bullhead City, and Lake Havasu City, with an additional campus in Colorado City. During the first semester, classes were taught at night. MCC began offering nursing classes in 1981 and became fully accredited the following year. 

Over the years, MCC has created additional programs such as business administration technology management; engineering including aerospace manufacturing; education; public safety including emergency medical technician certifications for paramedics and firefighters; criminal justice which includes police officer training academies for both sworn law enforcement officers and correctional officers as well.
