Northwest Louisiana Technical College - Shreveport Campus

Northwest Louisiana Technical College - Shreveport Campus is a private, for-profit 2-year college in Louisiana. Established in 1966 as the Northwest Louisiana Vocational School, it changed its name to Northwest Technical Institute and then to North West Tech College.

 In 1997 the school became affiliated with National Education Corporation of America (NECA) and changed its name once again to National Education Centers - Shreveport Campus. In 2009 NECA sold this institution to Phoenix University Systems LLC which was renamed NWLA Tech College. 

The campus currently offers Associate's degrees in both Healthcare Technology and Information Technology as well as Certificate programs in Medical Administrative Assistant, Computer Networking Technician, Criminal Justice Administration, Accounting Clerk Specialist, Banking Services Specialist II: Mortgage
