Northwestern Oklahoma State University is a four-year institution with the goal of providing its students with an excellent liberal arts education that prepares them for any career they choose. The university offers 125 different bachelor's degree programs and 18 graduate degree programs to meet your educational needs. Northwestern has been offering a quality education since 1909, when it first opened as the Northwestern State Normal School. In 1923, it became the Oklahoma Teachers' College at Enid (OTC). In 1965, OTC merged with Murray State College and was renamed Oklahoma Eastern Regional Institute of Technology. Finally in 1974 it became known as Northwestern Oklahoma State University - Enid (NWOSU-Enid), retaining its original mission

NOSU offers over 100 undergraduate degree programs and more than 60 graduate degrees including nursing, education, business administration and criminal justice.
