St. Catherine University is a Catholic, liberal arts university in Minneapolis with its main campus located on the historic St. Catherine's Hill overlooking downtown and the Mississippi River Valley. The school was founded in 1904 by Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and it has grown to be one of the top 10 baccalaureate colleges for women in the United States, according to Forbes magazine’s America’s Top Colleges list for 2018-2019.

St. Catherine University is a Catholic, private, four-year liberal arts college for women located in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota and was founded on the traditions of Benedictine spirituality and scholarship by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1905.

The university enrolls about 3200 students at its two campuses; 700 are residential students who live on campus all four years while 1600 commute to classes from home or other colleges. The school offers over 30 undergraduate majors with 18 graduate degree programs including: Leadership Studies major (in partnership with Central Lakes College), nursing education program (in partnership with Hennepin Technical College) as well as a joint MBA/MBA program offered jointly with Saint Thomas University School of Law
