Since 1887, St. Joseph School of Nursing has been a leading school in the health care profession. Located in Buffalo, NY and now nationally accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), we offer an Associate Degree Program that prepares students for careers as Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses or Nurse Educators. We also offer a Master's Degree program to prepare nurses for leadership positions such as Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist or Director of Nursing Services.
St Joseph School Of Nursing is a Catholic, not-for-profit professional nursing school. We are committed to the development of competent and compassionate nurses who will serve in diverse roles in healthcare settings throughout their professional careers.
We offer a 4 year degree program leading to an Associate Degree in Nursing followed by either an RN or LPN license. The curriculum consists of classroom instruction, laboratory work, clinical rotations and supervised field experiences at various health care facilities including hospitals, long term care facilities and community agencies. Students are provided with opportunities for intellectual growth through challenging assignments that encourage critical thinking skills while providing practical experience needed for success as a nurse practitioner or other healthcare provider.
