Suffolk County Community College is a public, co-educational commuter college located in Selden, New York. The SCCC nursing program gives students the chance to pursue the practical nursing program or the associate’s degree in nursing program. LPN-to-RN placement options are available for those who qualify. Students will also have RN-to-BSN transfer opportunities due to the many partnerships that SCCC has formed with four-year universities. All nursing programs will feature classroom instruction, laboratory experiences, and clinical experiences. The SCCC school of nursing is a member of the National Association for Associate Degree Nursing (NOADN). This nursing program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
